About

I believe I am undoubtedly the most vulnerable person and the sweetest hearted person you will ever meet. I am a Christian, and I am not afraid to talk about my spirituality, my feelings, my inadequacies (at least imagined inadequacies) or my affections.

I am beginning to learn what I have to offer.  I have absolutely no concept of my own value, my talent, my intrinsic and simple solidarity.

I am a man who has been through the following in the past few years:

My father died, my exes father died, I lost my best friend, I filed business bankruptcy, personal bankruptcy, I lost my business, I lost myself, and finally I was divorced.

I have absolutely no idea of what I have to offer.   However I hope that will change.

Wow, u have been thru some tough times. When I go thru difficult times i read/listen to the Bible, but Joel Osteen sermons on youtube are great. I have been reading The Success Principles by Jack Canfield, that is great for that kind of thing. Power of Positive Thinking is also good. I try to write posts to help people succeed in life, maybe those will help you too. http://www.bradstanton.com. Best wishes and my God bless.

When life hits hard, I remind myself to learn what I can, do my best, and be prepared to bolster someone else when they are hit the same way. Your transparency here on your blog will surely serve to encourage someone else who needs to know they’re not alone.

I’ve gone through a few of those spells. The first one… I thought I was going to never see the light.
But I turned on a show. I think it was James Robinson… and he was reading a letter that said “I have lost my home, my job, my marriage… and I am living in a 12 by 12 foot room…and yet I am happier than I ever have been in my life because I have found Jesus and I would never have slowed down enough to find HIM if this hadn’t happened. Just that letter, gave me hope. I went back to bed, laid my arm over both my kids and prayed and fell fast asleep. I knew right then and there that God was with me. And HE hasn’t left since! I know that I’ve wandered off a few times but HE is always there waiting with open arms. Now why couldn’t people be like that? But you know what? Knowing that God is… is enough!
Paying for you friend! You sound like a soldier ready to fight! I believe in you!
xoxo Diane

Sometimes we have to let go of everything to find our true passion and creativity… that’s looking at your story in a positive way… but you must be feeling quiet overwhelmed with everything and i hope you have friends and family around you in which to ask for support at this time… Please remember the saying… ‘This to will pass’…. Thanks for coming by and liking my post with my answers to Project O…

Hey you gotta know what you aren’t – don’t have in order to realize what you do have. Cute kids….who may once again show you life, the world and it’s treasures.
(Don’t worry about the weed – soon it’ll be hot and they all die from lack of proper environment…problems are sort of like that too)

I am so saddened to know that you have experienced such great loss and been through a whole lot of things, especially things beyond your control. But the best thing is you have Jesus and while we can go thru loss and suffering He will never ever leave you nor forsake you. Now that is something I am so grateful for too. I pray your strength in the Lord. Betty

Your story is compelling and my heart aches for your losses. But it also is warmed by your triumphs and ability to embrace gratitude and love.

The beautiful thing to remember is that your value was already determined when God sent Jesus to die on a tree. The value of something is determined by the price paid. Jesus paid a high price for you. Sounds like you have endured quite a bit. The awesome thing is none of that changes the truth of the Gospel, and what God did for us while we were yet sinners. Just press into Jesus more and more. Get into the secret place, when no one else is around, and seek Him above everything. Don’t let your experiences dim the light of truth that you are valuable in God’s eyes. We were created in His image. Nothing changes that. God bless.

You have a wonderful future ahead. I can see you becoming a happier person than you’ve ever imagined, doing work that’s important to you and to God. Way to reach out! Way to be courageous and speak up for yourself. Hang tough! It’s going to get better and better for you.

Wow, I can definitely relate, not to the male part. 😉 I went through a period where I lost everything, felt worthless and helpless and hopeless. Thank God that period of my life is over. I’m glad it is for you too. Thank you for sharing your journey.

The strength God has given you is only amazing because you believe in his will. Your testimony doesn’t mirror mine, but your troubles and new found beliefs mimic me. A truly inspiring story. I don’t know your relationship or history with Rick Smith, but Rick has played a huge silent role in my recovery from alcohol addiction. He aslo seems to always know when something is going on with me kind of like the preacher in church who you think is pointing fingers at you during his sermon. He will make contact with me within 24hrs if I have a bad case of the hiccups when the people around haven’t noticed. I too have surrendered my life to our Lord Jesus Christ. Life is Great. Reading your testiminy has taught me a novel of learning in ten minutes. You should only continue to remind yourself what this will do for others when you share the word. You are on an amazing journey right now, so jump on that wave and ride it forever. I have the chills typing this because what you wrote is so coming from Gods mouth and now others who haven’t found him can find him through your testimony and presence. Would love my wife and I to meet you some day. You can share this if I can share your story. Call me sometime. (214)842-3584. Continue to believe and keep the faith. God is Good my brother. Much Love, Strength and Prayers coming at ya. THANKS Chuck
